Image editing encompasses the processes of altering images, whether they be digital photographs, traditional analog photographs, or illustrations. Traditional analog image editing is known as photo retouching, using tools such as an airbrush to modify photographs, or editing illustrations with any traditional art medium. But they are very expensive, about $600 Instead of that, go with gimp i've loved Photoshop for years, but hate the cost. I don't use but 10% of its power. It's a big waste of money to buy it, since I am not making a living with it. So I steal it -- but of course that is illegal. I've been slowly migrating over to GIMP, they say its every bit as powerful as photoshop, but it takes some getting used too. Still trying to figure my way around it.
