Is it more difficult to transcend a difficult conjunction than an opposition or square with the same planets?
Q. I was reading where an astrologer said that she would rather see Venus square Saturn than Venus conjunct Saturn (I have the latter) because with a square or opposition, the planets can function on their own, but with a conjunction, the energies are always flowing together. What is your take?

A. Conjunction means both are true so it's the point (2,4) Disjunction means only one has to be true so it's the entire lines x=2 and y = 4

How do I use mousse for volume in conjunction with another product?
Q. I use Redken Satinwear which is like a serum. I put it in my hair right before I blowdry it and my hair turns out soft and shiny. However though, I want to add some volume to my hair. I think to do this I need to put some mousse at my roots. I want to keep my hair straight (I flat iron my hair) and do not want the mousse to make it curly/wavy. So, how do I use mousse and the Satinwear together?

A. The easiest way would probably be to apply the products at different times. The satinwear adds weight to your hair, and should be applied once your hair is halfway to being dry. Apply the mousse to the roots of your hair, and about an inch or two down. Using a round brush (or whatever you have) blow dry sections of hair the opposite way that they usually lay. This in itself creates volume, to which the mousse will add - and by using a brush you're keeping it straight at the same time. Blow drying your hair upside helps as well. If you're using a flatiron at any point to straighten your hair, make sure you aren't pulling down when you're straightening - pull away from your head in small sections. This also adds body.
