A governorate is an administrative division of a country. It is headed by a governor. As English-speaking nations tend to call regions administered by governors either states, provinces, or colonies, the term governorate is often used in translation from non-English-speaking administrations. The most common usage is as a translation of the Arabic Muhafazah rarely Wilayah. Q. i first learnt about this yemenite rabbi in 1995. i tried to search for helpful information about him but i couldn't find anything. here are few information i got from a yemeni friend.. he was buried in yefrutz village within taiz governorate.. strongly believed that he died prior the muza' crisis (no clue). he is widely respectful and honored in yemen. as poet, he is considered one of the founders of the humeni (sana'ani) poetry school alongside with other muslim and jewish poets. Q. Egyptian secondary school exams are held once a year at the same time in every big or small egyptian town. The exams are identical everywhere and on the basis of the grades the students get, they can go to various collages and higher education organizations. This introduction was ment for who is not familiar with it. This year it was attended by nearly 750 000 students. Also this year the children of high rank police officers and congress men were given the exam 24hrs before it was officially held. This happened in Minia, a southern egyptian governorate.
