What object can I use to represent the Battle of Vimy Ridge and why?
Q. I have this project for Grade 10 history and i need to do a show and tell with an object that is somehow involved with The Battle of Vimy Ridge. The project is about the most defining moment in Canadian history and I want an object that is easy to get or make. Please also tell me why you think that it is a good prop for showing the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Thanks for the help.

What is the relationship between heat lost by one object and the heat gained by another object?
Q. What is the relationship between heat lost by one object and the heat gained by another object? What is the law that proves this ?

A. Heat is a term used to define the amount of energy an object holds. Energy defines how fast the atoms that make up an object move/vibrate. If an object is hot, its atoms vibrate much more than that of an object that is cold. If a hot object touches a cold object, the energy from the hot object is transfered to the cold one in order to maintain an equilibrium (I know that the term is used differently in some context, but it will do here.) Example: Water. If it's ice, then it's cold, meaning that the particles that make it up hardly move at all, which is evident by its physical properties: it's a solid. If energy is applied to it, then the particles start moving more, thus causing the ice to turn into water, which is made up of atoms… [cont.]

Q. I am writing a Shakespearean sonnet, which requires 3 different metaphors/objects that represent a single theme.
