I've seen someone say that before and wondered about it. I consider spirituality and religion to be separate, but connected. Religion, in a real sense, involves a deep spiritual commitment to believe in God (and for Christians, to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ/Messiah, the redeemer, the mediator between God and man). At the same time, spirituality may not necessarily tied to any religion, especially for an individual. My Celt ancestors were spiritual in many ways, but they were considered pagan. Was their spirituality and "holy" men part of a religion?
