A lot of these war torn areas were contaminated by depleted uranium, which killed many unborn children and caused numerous birth defects. If you're serious about this, you should take a trip to these areas and ensure that you truly have the child's best interest at heart. I'm sure that these wars have created many orphans--there will be no shortage of kids to adopt.
