Have you ever seen an unidentified flying object?
Q. I was driving to work here in sunny FL. Day had clear skies with no clouds. I looked up and say a metalic looking disc flying towards me. It then turned on its side, making it look like a shield, and darted off really fast. I noticed birds and a plane, and this thing did not look like either. It probably happened in a 2-3 second span. I'm not crazy and I know exactly what I saw. Anyone else seen anything like this?

Have you ever seen an Unidentified Flying Object?
Q. If you have, then when and where did you see it? And even though you cannot identify it, what do you think it was? I saw a light in the sky perform manoeuvres that required speeds not capable by any known form of flight. The event lasted about half an hour and then the object shot up into the sky at an unbelievable speed. eggylang - try reading more carefully. Flight not light!!!

A. No I have not seen a UFO. However, I do not dismiss the testimony of thousands of civilian and military pilots and other trained observers like military and law enforcement personnel or astronomers. Many eye witness reports are also corroborated with radar confirmation and some with photographs as well. I believe if a UFO is an alien space craft or a currently unknown weather phenomena or any other explanation (and there is likely more than one explanation for different sightings) that science could only be advanced by our studying this phenomena. Q. Suppose that 80 unidentified flying objects remain unidentified for every 20 that are identified. Suppose the police nationwide receive reports of 57,000 unidentified flying objects in a year. How many of them are identified with known phenomena?
Asked by just whatever - Mon Sep 29 01:55:19 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. It's an 80:20 ratio. So there are 100 total sightings. Easy to calculate the percentage. 80% remain unidentified, 20% are identified. 20% of 57,000. I come up with 11,400.

I have also heard this; I personally hope it happens as it is about time the people of the world knew the truth and being an abductee I am among only a small % of people who know for sure that we are not alone...The governments of the world will have a lot of explaining to do, as will The Church, we have been lied to by both institutions for far too long... Who Has Seen an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) for Themselves?
Q. Details on what you saw? What time in the day? Your thoughts while seeing it? Details: A flying cigarette-like aircraft with a lit blue butt. It did NOT fly normally. Time: Sometime in the afternoon. People were around but it seems they didn't notice. I'm not crazy, people! Pay attention to the damn thing! It did maneuver behind thick clouds though, so... My Thoughts: finally geoff: Are you simply good at identifying flying stuff, or were the objects unconvincing "UFO"s? JoeJack: Good stuff, man. Agh, you should'a filmed it! 8675309: Nice username. lol Sweet details, though. What the hell could just do something like that? Esteban: It would totally suck if it was Chinese Lanterns like I read in another question's answer.

A. Yes. It wasn't a "flying saucer" it was ovular, and really long. It moved slowly, and kind of hovered, and if you were close enough to it, you could hear a really quiet buzzing sound. It eventually just kind of moved away, suddenly going extremely fast. Mine was light blue too, though you can tell it was an unnatural color, and it didn't belong there. Time of day, probably a little, but not much later than 2:00PM. One of my friends saw it too. Afterward we started keeping detailed records about the time of day, and pattern of movement, as well as the date, and sketches of every UFO thereafter, but unfortunately I have misplaced those records. My thoughts: ' This is either a warped government experiment, or a UFO,' but for all the ones… [cont.]

Trick question: Have you ever seen a UFO (Unidentified flying object)?
Q. I guess now I can say (I wasn't going to put this in details because then it wouldnt be a Trick Question) that UFO's are objects in the sky that you can't identify, its pretty obvious. I have seen some, I could later identify them as low flying passenger aircraft.

Unidentified flying object sighting? Pleas help.?
Q. I'm at work, I'm a night time security guard. Most nights I go on top of our building and look at the stars. I was up there at 11:30 or so tonight, and I saw a strange group of lights that were headed towards the north star coming through the handle of the big dipper. It was probably 8-10 lights, they were yellowish in color and they kinda fanned out as they went. I watched them for probably 20 seconds. they had the speed of a satellite that is visible. But the different color and shape, and movement was strange. Anybody have any theories of what i just saw. Thanks Bob, I didn't think about that. Would it have been something hitting something else, and then seperating? That would account for the fanning out. It wasn't fire… [cont.]

A. Actually the other day I was laying in bed looking out the window at the sky and noticed a white object flying fairly high up. I figured it was just the sun reflecting off an airplane until it made a 90 degree turn. I watched it for a while and it made another sharp turn, went in one direction for a while, then just disappeared. It was really odd. I dunno what the heck it was, for all I know it might have been a balloon. It was pretty high up though.

Why don't you believe Unidentified Flying Objects exist?
Q. 1) There are thousands of witnesses with nothing to gain by coming forward, especially commercial pilots and military officers. 2) It basically comes down to who's word do you trust. Do you really believe the official line over these witnesses? 3) If one person saw something, then it could be anything. However, if groups of witnesses are seeing the same thing? Mass hallucination? Are they all mistaken? 4) If you need physical proof, consider these sightings are of things that don't touch the ground. How do you acquire physical evidence? 5) What might a jury conclude? Yes, it is all circumstantial, but the evidence is heavily corroberated. 6) Why don't they land on the White House lawn? If there is an intelligence beyond our… [cont.]

Asked by mano w - Thu Mar 1 17:35:19 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. well considering ufo's arnt proven but we all know there really are ufo's then it would all have to depend when the aliens are from. And if they have the technology to travel from 3 dimentions to 4 and so on and so on.. usually inorder to travel interdimentional you would have to beable to break the speed of light or beable to bend time and space its self to work for you. allowing you to jump from 3 to 4 and to 10.. but that has to to with string theory. Basically what im saying if the aliens are advanced enough. then most likely the are able to travel interdimentinally and interstellarly.

A. They haven't necessarily stopped, but (as you can see from the other answerers) witnesses of UFO's fear being ostracized by their fellow citizens if they go public. Evidence that something funny has happened: Years of secrecy about Area 51 (Roswell), and "all" the documentation recently went public. Absolutedly nothing was found in this documentation (nothing interesting). Now some will say, "See, there's not UFO's". But I ask, then why all the secrecy and coverup?
